 Debra Teng holds a Masters degree in Architecture from National University of Singapore as well as a Postgraduate diploma in Performance (Acting) from Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts in London under the sponsorship of the prestigious British Chevening Scholarship.
She has worked as a corporate communications trainer/ facilitator in the region for various multi-national as well as local companies including Baker and MacKenzie(London), Maura Fay Workshops(Australia), CSW Global(USA), UBS, SingHealth, Nortel, AT Kearney (China), KPMG, Peat Marwick, Anderson Consulting, Accenture, Asia Pacific Breweries, Johnson and Johnson, Schering-Plough, BP (Singapore, Trengganu, Kuala Lumpur), UBS, Genting Resorts World BHD (Genting Highlands), Eli Lilly & Co, CIMB (Kuala Lumpur). She is also a trained life coach and has worked as a trainer/presenter with Mindchamps on their Young Champions and Confident Communicator programmes.
She was also an Academic Associate with Republic Polytechnic on their Problem Based Learning Programmes. She has also worked with Macmillan in London to produce a series of educational audio training material.
On top of that, she is also an established actor and host in Singapore with a long list of theatre, television and film credits to her name, garnering awards and accolades from as far as Japan and New York. Debra is also a theatre director and producer, and has coached and directed many new and established actors in their craft.
