Estella graduated with an Honours degree from the National University of Singapore, and did her research in medical science before she decided to pursue a career totally different and have not looked back since. She started her career in hospitality and events management, and moved on to sales, marketing and business development where she accumulated more than 5 years of experience. She was also in the training and education industry for about 10 years where her broad and varied exposure includes public relations, recruitment, international relations, continuing education, and market development.
 
During her work stint in US, Estella built a network of investors and startup owners and established a business centre in Silicon Valley, helping entrepreneurs make their dreams come to fruition. She also headed the Asia and Australasia division of a statutory board and was responsible for many collaborative projects between Singapore and its counterparts in this region. In 2005, she was part of a taskforce to assist companies like Isetan, Bossini, Lee Hwa, Cartier, Hour Glass etc upgrade and improve service standards through successful implementation of training programmes. The effort resulted in a significant increase in training numbers within a few months.

Prior to joining aAdvantage Consulting, Estella was the Director of Operations and Marketing of a design and business entity.
