Shuying graduated from National University of Singapore with an Honours degree in Social Sciences, bringing with her a background in Psychology. Shuying brings with her experience in statistical analysis and administration of psychometric tests. Prior to joining aAdvantage Consulting, Shuying was also involved academic researches in Industrial and Organisational Psychology, particularly in the areas of Leadership and Interpersonal Attraction.

Since joining aAdvantage Consulting as an Analyst, Shuying has been involved in Qualitative Research, Focus Group Studies , Facilitation of teambuilding events. Most recently, Shuying has also been involved in Customer Satisfaction Surveys which assess the internal service standards and behaviours of the customer interfacing departments of both private and public sector agencies.
