 Swee Meng has about 10 years of experience in the research and consulting experience in both the public and private sectors. She has wide experience in conducting market, industry and socio-economics studies. She has worked with clients from a range of industries including: furniture, electric & electronic manufacturing, legal services, trading, chemicals and government services. Other highlights of her career include the industry studies, government policies, and marketing studies and consulting.
Previously, she was an independent consultant and has held several consulting positions at PE Research Sdn Bhd and INSAP (Institute of Strategic Analysis & Policy Research). She has consulted on projects in Malaysia and Vietnam and has worked on assignment at the Economic Planning Unit at the Malaysian Prime Minister’s Department, as consultant for the Danida-EPU project on Economic Approaches to Sustainable Development. She was also involved in identifying economic approaches to deal with selected issues related to the pesticides usage in the agriculture sector.
